Derby City Council has been on an exciting journey of transformation. We are proud of our success to date but like many local authorities we face many more challenges in the months and years to come.

We have been through a period of time focusing on ensuring a planned approach and future stability for the city. We are now looking for inspiring leaders to join us and take us on to the next phase, with further innovation and the continuation of excellent relationships with all of our partners to shape Derby’s future you’ll help us to deliver on our pledges.

Our new Chief Executive and Strategic Director of Corporate Resources will both work to ensure that we are equipped in the best way possible to meet the present and future needs of our customers, to provide services for our ever changing city and to make Derby an even better place to live and work.

Our corporate management team will play a key role in working with Members to shape the future vision and direction for the city and the Council. We are looking for a combination of effective leadership, drive, ambition and credibility together with a track record of delivery.
